Sri Lanka continues to amaze us. We enjoyed the beauty of the county and the warmth and hospitality of the locals. We loved that there were so many animal observing opportunities. We saw wild horses in Delft island. Green Sea Turtles on Turtle beach. Families of Elephants at Minneriya National Park. Whales off Mirissa beach. Nadeera, our guide for the 15 days took excellent care of us. He was very professional in his services and knowledgeable about Sri Lanka. He was also very fun and we shared many laughs together. Amazing experience with Ceylon expedition. It was a lovely holiday which I would recommend to everyone. All of our arrangements for hotel booking sightseeing and special visits were arranged professionally by Ceylon Expeditions. Their hospitality was incredible. There was an amazing chauffeur Edward, better to call him a friend to help us throughout our journey. Our meal times had been arranged in the best possible places with the great quality food not to mention frequent relaxing tea breaks too! This was a best planned trip ever. We had a wonderful honeymoon trip in Sri Lanka. We travel for 2 weeks all around the island, Negombo, Anuradhapura, Jaffna , Habarana, Kandy , Eliya , Ela , Mirissa , Bentota and Colombo. We love the diversity of the trip which include Temple visits, elephant safari, hiking, beautiful landscape, magnificent tea fields , beaches and great cooking experience in Local Family. Again thanks to the great work of Ceylon Expeditions, we stayed in marvellous hotels. The only thing we regret is that we should have stayed longer to enjoy a few days at the beach.
